UPDATE - NOVEMBER 2023

The First Draft of the Local Plan is scheduled to go before the BCP Council on 9th January. Following that there will be a six-week formal consultation on the draft plan, concluding in March 2024. 

NOTE: Because of the publication of an amended National Planning Policy Framework in December, the consultation will now begin on 20th March.

In the meantime, there will be four drop-in events next week (beginning 6th November), when BCP residents will be able to see what’s coming in Plan (including maps of allocated sites) and will have the chance to offer feedback either to planning officers at the events or by sending in comments afterwards.

• Monday 6 November -     Kinson      Library - 10am - 7pm
• Tuesday 7 November -    Christchurch Library - 10am - 7pm
• Thursday 9 November -  Poole      Library - 10am – 6pm
• Friday 10 November -      Boscombe Library - 12.30 – 5pm

The full draft of local plan will be made available on the BCP website from 24th November.
