The Oaks

Care South have recently acquired The Oaks site and would like to build a care home.

A  planning application has recently been submitted by Care South for the erection of a temporary hoarding, an earth bund, timber gate and retractable bollards, all measures intended to secure the site. As things stand, the application has not been fully registered yet, because further information has been requested by the Council. Currently, contractors working on behalf of Care South have constructed the earth bund – work that has been undertaken at their own risk, as there is no guarantee that planning permission will be forthcoming once the application has been registered and considered by the Council. Any unauthorised work could be liable to enforcement action.
